Adding Bluetooth or Ipod to an European vehicle is a little different than domestic vehicles. Most European brands have been using a fiber optic connection for a very long time, way before domestics and asian brands.
Fortunately, all of the cars follow the same standards – and one model will actually fit many different brands, with a flick of a dip switch or other configuration change. So that means shopping for an unit is a lot easier than the hundreds of models for non-European cars.
Unfortunately, most of the European brands are fiber optic and use a digital connection. Because of this, better equipment is needed to get the audio into your car – and usually because it is digital, it will carry digital audio along with text, playlists and album information.
The most popular item available – and probably best is the DENSION GW52MO2 , which has built in bluetooth and Ipod with USB control.
